ETC Division 3 - Isle Of Man v Gibraltar

28 Apr 2018

The Isle Of Man team lost to Gibraltar in their final match to determine the teams finishing in the 7th and 8th position. Finishing 8th is a quite an achievement for an island that only boasts 6 squash courts and a relatively small player base to call on so the team should be pleased with themselves for performing so well. Obituary - Charles Pimblett

27 Apr 2018

Sadly long time squash player Charles Pimblett was buried today (27/4/18). He died suddenly and with no warning several weeks ago at the age of 68. He was an avid squash player and a one off a kind character. If you played drop shots against Charles you were admonished with some sweet words that no one else had heard of but then he would join you in the bar and over a glass or two of beer he would give you his views on how life should be lived which also included some very colourful language and some wicked jokes. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and played against him.
